By using reversi.plyyard.com, you agree to the limits below. If you do not agree, stop using the site. These terms cover computer games, shared-device play, online rooms, and the Rules and Tips content. We explain the boundaries through situations that can arise in an actual game rather than relying only on legal terminology.
What this site provides
The site provides a free browser-based Reversi board for learning, practice, teaching on one device, and online games with people you know. Computer mode includes hints, undo, and replay. Online mode is designed to keep both players on the same position; it does not offer the same tools.
This site is not a rating server, tournament official, professional coach, or certification body. We may change the layout, AI search strength, room behavior, or available features. The service is provided as is, and we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation on every device and network.
Acceptable use and prohibited conduct
You may play, teach, and review games for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may quote a small amount of site content if you clearly identify the source.
Do not harass visitors, impersonate another seat, create rooms in abusive volume, interfere with games, probe the service, or attack it.
Do not bypass room permissions or use scripts to create rooms, occupy connections, or send repeated requests in bulk.
Do not use a software defect as a way to win. If the board and rules disagree, stop the game and report the problem instead of exploiting it against another player.
Any material you send or distribute, including a screenshot attached to a report, must be content you have the right to share.
Which game this is
The site uses the public rules of 8×8 Reversi: every move must enclose and flip at least one line, a player with no legal move must pass, and the final disc count determines the winner. Our product name does not use another company’s trademark for a boxed game. The Rules page provides the full explanation.
What counts as a recorded move
In computer and shared-device modes, hints, undo, and move-by-move replay are practice tools. The position is stored in the current browser and is not an official game record.
In an online room, only a legal move accepted and synchronized by the server is added to both boards. There is no hint or one-sided undo. A draw requires the other player’s agreement, and resignation ends the game.
After a brief disconnection, the browser can use locally stored seat information to try to rejoin. Reconnection may fail because of network conditions, room expiration, or cleared browser data.
There is no rating table or automatic matching with strangers. Visitors may join or watch public rooms. Private rooms depend on careful sharing of the invitation link.
Limits of AI, hints, and instruction
Computer moves and hints come from time-limited search in your browser. Higher levels generally search more deeply, but every level can miss a line and none corresponds to a real-world rank. The Rules page explains the move rules used here. The Tips page offers ways to evaluate positions, but it does not guarantee a win or replace calculation in a specific position.
The page, the words, the mark
The site design, written content, brand marks, and site-specific interactions belong to Ply Yard or the relevant rights holders. Without permission, you may not copy, mirror, or scrape the site in bulk to create a network of duplicate sites or for another misleading purpose.
If something breaks
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ply Yard is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the site or inability to use it. This includes lost game data, device performance problems, network interruptions, closed rooms, and misunderstandings caused by an AI move.
You accept the communication and privacy risks of inviting another person through a shared link. Do not post a room link publicly if you do not want others to enter.
Games, replays, and rooms are not permanent archive services. If a game matters to you, make your own record of the important positions or moves instead of relying only on browser storage or a temporary room.
Abuse controls and service changes
To protect visitors and service stability, we may limit connections, close rooms, or block obvious automated abuse. If features, information handling, or these use boundaries change materially, the updated terms will be posted on this page.
Privacy and related policies
The Privacy Policy explains how local game data, room synchronization information, and browser storage are handled. By using this site, you also acknowledge that you have read and understood that policy.
